Have I told you what you mean to me?
Around you, I feel so light and free!
Had I not met you I’m scared of what I’d miss.
And no, I am not asking for your hand in wedded bliss.
But you complete me in ways I never knew
I needed to be completed. Then I met you.
There is a time for everything done under the sun
There is a time for meeting someone who fills your life with fun!
There is a time for work and toil, some joy and needed play
There was a time for us to meet, and you’re in my life to stay!
What might have happened if our paths never would have passed?
Aimed far beyond the passing, a lifetime there to last?
But we did not drift apart. We met one day last year
That moment melted away my each and every fear!
It wasn’t premeditated with the strategy of man.
Our lives have been set forth by a Sovereign Artist’s hand.
You fill my life with joy, With never ending glee!
In this kinship, I catch glimpses of eternity!
I enjoy the company of my wonderful, dear friend!
May Heaven begin where our paths in this life end!
