In the caravan of life
The only denizen is me
Moving to the destination
That we call eternity.
The course already set
Was not set by me
But I have no qualms
Approaching my eternity.
I hear there are two places
To wind up once we’re there
One as hot as summer blazes
One as light as springtime air.
Could one make the choice
They’d surely end up there.
Who would throw away the chance
Or act like they don’t care?
Told that I could choose
The place which I must go
I chose the one above
And shunned the one below.
