God is There

In the deepest darkest place,
Where you wouldn’t show your face,
In the abortion clinic,
In the home of the cynic,
When you are abused,
When you feel confused,
In every school hallway,
When your child goes astray,
In the lonely nursing home,
Wherever it is you roam,
When you’re loved one lost their mind,
And there is no peace to find,
God is there!
When your spouse just walks away,
When the cancer comes to stay,
A miscarriage or still birth,
Though no one perceives your worth,
When there’s nowhere else to go,
When you’re feeling awfully low,
In your darkest night or day,
When you think that there’s no way,
If you’re fearing the unknown,
And going through life alone,
You think “How bad can it get?”,
Though you cannot see Him yet,
God is there!

No matter where you’ve been, where you are, or where you’re going…
God is there.
