If you’re looking for the bad, you will find it. That’s how it works. You unearth what you intend to dig up, eventually.
Some will actively look for something unsatisfactory no matter how good a situation is.
They anticipate something going wrong, so when it does, they will capitalize on that moment.
Words like, “I knew it.” “Didn’t I tell you that was going to happen?” Spew forth like water from a broken dam.
They couldn’t handle hoping for something to turn out well and then dealing with the disappointment if it didn’t.
If it turned out well, they would have been somewhat surprised and maybe griped a little so they wouldn’t show too much joy.
Some think everyone else is against them. Their thoughts are not based on facts, only on assumptions they’ve concocted within their noggin.
If they’re assuming people are thinking negatively about them, it’s probably because that’s how they think and feel about others.
Simply put, there’s no winning with some people.
They have to choose to think and act differently.
And they can if they want to.
