The Rich

Solomon was the wealthiest man in history.

According to historical sources, and the Bible, he had forty-thousand horses.

The average cost for a horse today is $3,000. Average. I heard someone bought a horse for $100 one time, and it was a lemon. Shall we do the math?

In horses alone, his worth was one hundred and twenty million dollars, not counting the stables to house them.

Some sources say that his total net worth was 2.1 trillion dollars.

Solomon was given 120 talents (8,995 pounds) of gold from the Queen of Sheba, which equates to $257,734,043 today. The supply of gold that
came to Solomon in a year was six hundred and sixty-six talents or 49,950 pounds. At today’s price of $1,974.60 per ounce, this is equal to $1,577,620,800 worth of gold each year.

He had so much gold that he built two hundred targets of beaten gold. Each target weighed fifteen pounds and was worth $473,760. Then he made three hundred shields of gold. You get the point. He had so much gold he overlayed his ivory throne with it.

But there’s one thing that King Solomon did not have.

Air conditioning.

And not a single ounce of gold from his 2.1 trillion net worth could have bought it.

to modern-day royalty,
