My name is Caleb Driscoll. I love the South Central portion of Missouri and want to spotlight the wonderful things that there are to do here. My dream is to one day publish a book of my home-grown poetry, and maybe a novel or three. But until then, I’ll persist with posting my poetry and blogs here. Actually, I don’t know if I could ever abandon this little site. It’s like home to me.
The CANEY MOUNTAIN is only a very tall hill compared to most other mountains. It towers over the surrounding area at a jaw-dropping height of 1,257 feet and 7 and 5/16 inches. It’s situated amongst the Ozark Mountains in South-Central Missouri.
Smack-dab in the center of Ozark County to be precise.
This is the area where the author of this blog is located. Although, he is not quite as tall as the Caney Mountain.
He is not a good writer, but he likes to write. So he’s trying to get gooder at it.
One thing is for certain, he likes poetry. Everything written on this site is original. Unless otherwise notated
